It’s Alive!…

Asylum Escape is Live on Kickstarter as of September 24th! Keep your eyes peeled for updates… figuratively of course.

…Unless you’re the Patients.

What’s it about?

  • At Dr. Paradise's rehabilitation island, outcasts and the socially inept are sent for supposed guidance, funded by government grants. In reality, it's a site for horrific experiments. During a power outage, electronic locks failed, leading to an unknown number of escapes.

Unfortunately... there's only one boat off the island.

  • This game is meant for groups of 3-7 players, and features artwork likely not suitable for children under the age of 15.

  • Just the game, a coin, some pen and paper. Well... and a morbidly twisted sense of reality of course!

  • One person at the table plays as the Patients, aiming to hunt down all Victims. The others as Victims, try to stay hidden, outsmarting and escaping the Patients' grasp while simultaneously sabotaging the other Victims!

This game is crafted for horror lovers, card enthusiasts, and board game aficionados alike!

What kinds of cards are involved?…

(Click each card title for more information!)

  • One Player plays as the Patients, horrific experiments from Dr. Paradise gone wrong. Roaming the halls for Victims to sate their bloody desires.

  • Cards that Patients draw after unsuccessful turns in which they haven't killed a Victim. These cards resolve immediately and make it more likely to catch Victims, or strengthen the Patients chances of winning the game over time.

  • Cards Victims may draw/use to sabotage other Victims in the Asylum. Making them more visible, or increasing their chances of being caught.

  • Cards Victims may draw/use to protect or hide themselves in the Asylum. Making them less visible, or decreasing their chances of being caught.

  • Rooms Victims will hide in within the Asylum. Patients move around from room to room searching for them.

  • All remaining players play as the Victims, trapped... mostly innocent bystanders hiding for their lives from the bloodthirsty experimental Patients searching for them. Each person is out for themselves in this betrayal ridden desperate attempt at escape.
